Korvix Finance

Working capital, decided while the customer waits

Advances underwritten against the money a business has actually taken through the platform. Assessed, priced and paid out in a single request, then repaid out of what comes in next.

Available

Who this is for

Businesses already taking money through Korvix, such as online merchants, marketplace sellers and service firms, that are waiting on cash they have effectively already earned. In South Africa and Nigeria most of all, where a bank overdraft for a business this size either takes months or is not on offer, and the gap between shipping an order and being paid for it is the thing that caps how fast the business can grow.

Best fit

Businesses taking payments through Korvix, because the score is built from settled payments on this platform: the longer a business has traded here, the more it can borrow. Bringing your payments here is the way in, and the offer grows with the takings. Business lending only.

What it does

Inside Korvix Finance

Decided in the same request

The answer arrives with the application: approved and paid out, declined, or sent to a person, along with the score, the band it fell in, and the figures that produced it. There is no queue to sit in and nothing to poll.

Underwritten on takings, not on a form

The score is built from the business's own settled payments in the platform ledger. Nothing is self-reported, so there is nothing to overstate, and a business with no trading history is turned down rather than guessed at.

Priced once, and then it cannot move

A fixed fee, set as a share of the amount advanced at the moment it is paid out and never accrued afterwards. The term is fixed in the same instant. What is owed on the first day is what is owed on the last.

It repays itself out of what comes in

A share of every settled payment is swept against the oldest live advance automatically. The business can also repay from its wallet whenever it likes, in part or in full, and the two work together.

A person decides the middle

Scores that are neither clearly good nor clearly bad go to a reviewer, and no money moves until they answer. Applications that fail outright are never referred, however high they score, because there is nothing there for a reviewer to weigh.

Late is a date, not a verdict

An advance past its due date stays live: the automatic sweep keeps working and the business can still repay, because both are how a late advance actually gets paid. Only a person can write one off, and only with a reason.

Exposure is counted across everything outstanding

The limit is on what a business already owes plus what it is asking for, not on the size of the request. Asking for less is not a way around it, and the refusal says so.

Every decision stays on the record

Each decision is written to the activity log with the figures behind it, in a table the application can neither change nor delete. The entries distinguish what a person decided from what the system did, which is what a lending audit actually asks.

What it costs

Priced per advance, not per month

No subscription. A fee is stamped onto each advance when it is approved, in the currency the business borrowed, and it is the only thing Korvix earns on it.

Per advance

A stamped feeper advance

Priced at approval and never changed afterwards, so the cost of an advance is knowable on the day it is taken.

The fee is on the row. It is stamped onto the advance at approval and never recalculated, so what was agreed is what is collected.

Repayment is a share of settled sales, not a fixed instalment. A quiet week costs less, and the balance still comes down.

Straight answers

What comes next

The lending is built and exercised end to end, from application to write-off. Two things are on the roadmap.

Settlement through a live payment partner

Every advance, repayment and sweep runs against the ledger today, with the payment partner connected through an adapter. Connecting the live rail is the next step, and nothing above changes when it lands.

Bureau data alongside trading history

Underwriting today uses the strongest evidence there is: the business's own settled takings. Credit bureau data is planned as a second input, not a replacement.

Built on the same platform you would be

Korvix Finance uses the accounts, permissions, ledger and audit trail described on the main page: the same APIs, with no private access and no shortcuts. That is the clearest evidence we can offer that the platform underneath is real.
