Korvix Trade
Cross-border payouts at the rate you were quoted
Send money out of the same wallet in one currency and have someone paid in another, with everything we charge shown as a fee rather than hidden in the rate.
Who this is for
African businesses paying people in another country and doing it often enough to notice the spread: importers settling with suppliers, agencies paying contractors across the continent, companies with remote staff on the wrong side of a border. Intra-African payments are among the most expensive in the world, and most of that cost is not the fee anyone was quoted.
Best fit
Business payouts from a business wallet, with the permissions and the ledger that implies: a preparer, an approver, and one record of money. It is built for suppliers, contractors and payroll across a border, and priced only on corridors where we hold a real rate.
What it does
Inside Korvix Trade
We earn only the fee we show you
The other way to make money on a payout is to quote a worse rate than the one you actually got and keep the difference. It is invisible by construction, which is exactly why it is common. The rate here is the rate the provider returned, and everything we take is stated as a fee, in the currency being spent.
A quote is a price, not a promise
Pricing a payout stores nothing and commits nothing. The rate is fetched again and stamped at the moment of booking, so a quote and the payout that follows can differ if the rate moved. The alternative is honouring a price the provider is no longer offering, which is a worse kind of certainty.
Money that has been sent has left
The wallet is debited when the payout is booked, not when it is confirmed. A platform showing a payout as sent while the balance is still spendable is inviting a business to spend it twice.
Bank details never reach us
We hold the payout rail's reference for the destination account and never the underlying account details, the same boundary we hold for card data everywhere else on the platform.
A payout that comes back comes back whole
If a payout is returned, the wallet is credited in full, fee included. We charged to deliver it and did not deliver it, so keeping the fee would be charging for the attempt.
One wallet, one ledger
The same accounts, permissions and single record of money as everything else on the platform. A payout is a line in the same ledger a card payment is, which is why the two reconcile without anyone matching them by hand.
What it costs
One explicit fee per payout
No subscription and nothing hidden in the exchange rate. The rate a customer is given is the rate the provider returned, and everything Korvix takes is stated as a fee in the currency being spent.
Per payout
An explicit feeper payout
Quoted before booking, in the currency you are spending, and debited in the same ledger row as the payout.
The alternative is what most providers do: quote a worse rate than the one they obtained and keep the difference. It is invisible by construction, which is exactly why it is standard, and why we do not do it.
A quote is not a price. Rates move, so the rate is re-fetched and stamped at booking. A quote that had expired would be a worse thing to honour than a quote that says so.
Straight answers
What comes next
Booking, approval, debit, return and reconciliation are built and exercised end to end. The live connections are the next step.
A live rate feed and payout rail
The rate source and the payout rail sit behind adapters, with a reference rate table in place today. Connecting the live provider is the next step, and the quote, the fee and the ledger entry are already shaped for it.
Only corridors with a real price
A corridor without a quoted rate is refused, never approximated and never routed through a third currency. A price on an obligation is a price somebody quoted.
An operator confirms each payout
Until the rail reports delivery itself, an operator records each payout's outcome. Nothing on the platform is ever marked delivered on a timer.
Built on the same platform you would be
Korvix Trade uses the accounts, permissions, ledger and audit trail described on the main page: the same APIs, with no private access and no shortcuts. That is the clearest evidence we can offer that the platform underneath is real.
